dilium to launch Spatial Companion for Apple Vision Pro at WAICF Cannes 2026

12/02/2026
On February 12, 2026, during the World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF), dilium officially presented and launched Spatial Companion, our sixth application for Apple Vision Pro, continuing our journey in Spatial Computing with a strong focus on usability and guidance.
The launch took place in Cannes, where dilium was present with its stand inside the Italian Pavilion, organized by ICE – Italian Trade Agency. The pavilion brings together selected Italian technology companies representing national innovation on a global stage.
Spatial Companion is designed as a simple and always-available guide inside spatial environments. It supports users step by step, helping them understand what to do, where to look, and how to interact, directly within Apple Vision Pro.
The application acts as a context-aware companion, capable of adapting to different scenarios such as onboarding, training, assistance, and guided experiences, without overwhelming the user. The goal is to make Spatial Computing more accessible, intuitive, and natural.
“Spatial Companion was created to solve a very concrete problem: how to guide people through Spatial Computing experiences without breaking immersion and without requiring technical skills. We focused on control, clarity, and orchestration of the experience, rather than complexity. Apple Vision Pro offers an extraordinary technological platform, but for it to be truly usable in real-world contexts, users need to be supported step by step. Our early work on Apple Vision Pro in the Developer Labs in London and Cupertino allowed us to design Spatial Companion as a solution ready for enterprise, retail, and events.”

Spatial Companion strengthens dilium’s growing ecosystem of spatial applications, alongside solutions such as Spatial Plan, Spatial Drawing, and 3DtoMe, all designed to support people in real scenarios through Spatial Computing.
WAICF 2026 represented a strategic moment for dilium to share its vision with international partners, institutions, and innovators, reinforcing Italy’s contribution to the evolution of AI-driven spatial experiences.
